Halloween 2014: What I Was

I hope you all had happy/safe/candy-filled Halloweens! I certainly did – a slow day at work followed by a fun party with friends. And to add to those two occasions, I of course had two costumes…drumroll please…

For work, I went as a classic witch (with a mask that enabled to me to not have to put on makeup in the morning while we were finishing the Boy’s costume) and at night I was Beetlejuice himself! All good fun. The Boy was a sandworm, which you can check out here – it was amazing.

Always fun to see what a child’s play tube, cardboard boxes, and some paint can do! In my case, the work was mostly make-up based. Now it’s off to prepare for Thanksgiving and Christmas…not a lot of breathing room around here. Time will fly!

‘Tis the Season…

In honor of the holiday, here are a few of my past seasonal “looks,” also known as costumes. I spy Labyrinth, the Queen of Hearts, a greek goddess, The Walking Dead, a black widow…what will I be this year? Stay tuned! (Because in all honesty, there won’t be any pictures of it until 9pm tonight when I finally smash it all together.)

What are you going to be? Have a Happy Halloween!
